Top Girls Fashions Spring 2009: Splurges and Steals

I've decided to divide boys and girls into two blogs: stay tuned for boys tomorrow. Today, I've featured Splurges for Girls followed by some great Steals. If the entire look is under $50, it qualifies as a "steal." Everything else is a splurge. Enjoy!

1. Jottum Nausika navy top, $72, and Tinka skirt, $208. Crispy navy and white add up to fabulous spring style. link

2. Misha Lulu Tokyo Street Enjoy Water Shirt, $32, and Kiddy Land Skirt, $48. I am obsessed with the cute prints and amazing graphics of this line, and this is one of my favorite Misha sets for spring. link

3.For a school age girl, this sleeveless lace dress from Biscotti is pure perfection. $104 link

4. Another Biscotti confection - this bow-adorned dress is just frilly enough. $90

5. It was hard to pick just one look from the Mim Pi Spring 2009 collection, but I finally had to go wiht this adorable blue and white ensemble: The Blue Blue I Love You tank, $36, cardigan, $56, skirt, $64 and ruffle leggings, $56. link

6. Love this ruffly dress from Right Bank Babies as it is, and even more as a tunic over a cute pair of jeans. How fun! $138 link

7. Sure, I'm biased towards the name of this line, but I'm even more won over by the fresh, vintage styling. Lola et Moi Lola Girl tee in white, $38, and Turquoise with Hot Pink Tiered Skirt, $80. link

8. Lemon Loves Lime has the most beautiful details and some of the most innovative children's clothing around, and they're crocheted necklaces make fabulous gifts. This is the perfect girly twirling dress. $68 link

9. Save the Queen Circus offers high quality avant garde fashion for kids that still manages to look fresh and youthful. This dress is a real showstopper! link

10. This stunning black and white outfit is a standout, with the most amazing fabrics and beautiful details! Doily skirt, $138, Heart Bustle Tank, $76, and frilly leggings, $76. link

Steals
1. Simple and super stylish, just like everything else from J. Crew. Cotton Belle Dress, $48. link

2. Cute and comfy, in a bubbly print that is perfect for Spring. Gap flower dress, $32. link

3. My girls have several of these Lola Baby wrap dresses. The vintage prints are so unique and stylish. White Mums wrap dress, $42. link

4. I was in Old Navy yesterday, and I couldn't resist grabbing these Valentine's dresses for my girls. At $16.50 each, they're a steal - and so adorable. link

5. Mini Boden features colorful basics in great fabrics. These colorful baggy capris have heart patch appliques on the front, $28. I love it with the crochet applique tee shirt, $22. pants and shirt

6. Noko makes hip girls clothes out of soft, sturdy traditional japanese fabrics. This dress is sweet, and, at the sale price, also a steal. Noko Azabu dress, $43. link

7. I love Tea Collection's sophisticated prints and soft fabrics. This tunic is so sweet for spring! link

8. My girls always have a few of these Polo dresses in their closet. They're classic, comfortable and easy to wear, $39.50-$42.50. link

9. This poppy print dress is crispy and fresh - perfect for spring, $34. link

10. Chase n Sky's pink silk top, $27.50, and tutu skirt, $32 are on sale from winter, but the colors and fabrics make them perfect for spring. And together, they're just a touch over $50, which isn't too bad for a party ensemble. link
