The Best Compliment

Today, we were in Bed Bath & Beyond, and I saw a woman staring at my girls. "Your daughters are beautiful," she said. I beamed. I know I'm their mom, but I think Lola is flawlessly beautiful and Eva is so baby-cute, with her dimples and chubby cheeks and all, and these days, a compliment about them is better than a compliment directed at me. I'm proud to be the mama of two beautiful little girls.
